It is no easy task to come up with a new expansion concept with everything that is available. Many ideas I have had were scrapped due to complexity or because it seemed too ordinary. Finally, with some help from my wife, I have a name, concept, sketches, characters and enough card ideas to make a worthwhile expansion set. NETHERWORLD is coming! Without getting too wordy, I will give a brief description of the Netherworld expansion. There will be 2 starting points from the main board. EVIL Characters will enter the Netherworld board from the GRAVEYARD and GOOD Characters from the Chapel. NEUTRAL Characters may choose either entrance. There will be 3 distinct regions for each alignment, The Cursed Region (Ruled by Spirits and Hideous Monsters), Neutral Territory and The Holy Lands (Where wild Animals and majestic Monsters rule). Each region will be color coded. GOOD Characters that venture into the Cursed Region will lose 1 life per turn if they do not have a Crucifix and the same will happen to EVIL Characters in the Holy Lands if they do not have a Pentagram. There will also be 2 decks of Netherworld Adventure Cards, 1 deck for the Cursed Region and another for the Holy Lands. Characters in the Holy Land must draw Good Adventure Cards, and those in the Cursed Regions must draw Evil Adventure cards. A character in the Neutral Territories may choose which deck to draw from. The very middle of the board will be the actual Nerherworld which will not require die roll for movement, much like the center of the Talisman main board. The actual ending is the only real mystery left. I need to come up with a reasonable goal for the players to reach. KEEP YOUR EYES PEELED FOR UPDATES!
