Joe - Desert Marshal

The sun crest on the knight was too good to pass up as an indicator of this stalwart fellow's past. I imagine him as a desert envoy for the king, selflessly hurling himself among the sand dunes, daring to adventure where most others fear to tread. As such, his beginning space is in the Oasis. Furthermore, the Desert is his playground, and he is unaffected by its harsh life-stealing effects. Instead, he can chance fate for the opportunity to gain gold, life, strength, or other adventure. However, he is useless in dark, confined places such as the Mines. The artwork for the character is not mine; I found a picture online for a Warhammer 40K figure (Knight of the Blazing Sun, I think), and tweaked the colors a bit in Photoshop to make it more like the original Talisman character.
