Master Thief - Talisman City

I couldn't find a suitable miniature in any Citadel range from the past or present so I looked further afield and decided to take a look at Foundry Miniatures as I knew that they had many of Citadel's early moulds and their miniatures were very much in the style of the old Citadel lines.

In the "Sea Dogs & Swashbucklers" collection I noticed a certain Daniel Smallbeer, who looked just the job.

Firstly I had to remove his poleaxe carefully with a craft knife and filed down the patch on his right trouser leg.

Then with the help of an Empire Militia sprue from my large "bits box" I gave him a money bag to carry and placed a feather at a jaunty angle in his cap.

All he needed then was basing and a coat of paint.
