Dragon Priest - Talisman Dragons

I had originally chosen the miniature to the left below as the basis for the Dragon Priest, but he needed a fair bit of conversion with the addition of new arms so I decided to use him as one of the "Master Level" characters for my 3rd Edition game.

The miniature to the right was spotted on eBay and is from the Marauder line of Undead Characters.

The knight shown here is from the Blood Dragon Vampire range and I thought it would be cool to use the small dragon from his helm for the conversion. I actually used the knight's body for the conversion of the Questing Knight! Waste not, want not!

After a bit of cutting and filing I managed to get the dragon to sit nicely at the back of his collar.

The miniature still looked like a vampire at this stage so I added a moustache and beard using some "Green Stuff", which for my first ever attempt didn't look too bad!

I did think about adding some "wings" as in the picture, but I figured they wouldn't look so good and I did not want to risk a putty-related disaster!!!
