The NetherWorld Board
The NetherWorld is the land of the dead. It exists on another plane of reality that is close to the land of the living, lying just beyonds its consciousness, waiting for victims and lost heros. The NetherWorld set takes a little getting used too, and it is definitely tough, but no character starts there anyway, so by the time that you do get there, you shouldn't be to badly off...MWA HA HA HA HA HA HA!. I designed this board because a lot of the time we would become too powerful to be scared by anything that we could ever draw from the adventure deck. Now, being stuck in the NetherWorld was something that most players tried to stay away from early in the game, and were always frightened of if they did end up there. It's about as powerful as Timescape...but in a different way. Now players have a chance to get back at the person that killed them, while still being out of the killing players hair for a while, or being forced out of the game in the middle of a good one because of a couple of unlucky rolls.
The Rules
There are only three ways to enter the NetherWorld. If a character dies they still lose all of their items and followers, but instead of starting a new character then can retain the strength and craft they had in life, just before they died, and start at The Crossroads square on the NetherWorld board.
They have no gold and only one life
. A player can open a gateway to the land of the dead by going to the Enchantress and paying her two gold and rolling under their craft on two dice. As their next move they move to The Crossroads and end their turn. If a player casts a Warp Gate spell they may move to The Crossroads instead of to the Timescape if they wish.
While a player is in The NetherWorld, they may go into negative lives without dying, but they cannot leave The NetherWorld unless they have at least one.
If ever a player has four lives while in The NetherWorld, they may move to the next adjacent space in the outer region as their move.
If a player acheives the Crown of Command, all players in The NetherWorld lose the game.
Optional Rule: When a player reaches -4 lives, they lose the game. Occasionally a character would be so hopelessly below zero that there was no chance at coming back. I list it as an optional because that didn't happen very often.

The Rules
that I have prepared in the style of the Timescape rules sheet.
I have been trying to make the board look really nice, but when it comes right down to it, I simply can't do it. I apologize for anyone that was hoping for the board to ever actually be finished. I will soon post the pictures I drew for the board, however they are not well done, nor do they fit around the board properly. If anyone is interested in helping me produce a quality board, please
let me know
Setting Up
Place The NetherWorld around the outside of the main Talisman board like it was another region. I designed it to exact dimensions so it should fit nice and snug.
