You’ve finally managed to find yourself all of the expansions for the Revised 4th Edition of Talisman from Fantasy Flight Games, including the two awesome Print on Demand expansions (plug!).
You have tricked out all of your counters and coins, sleeved all of your cards, and have kitted yourself out with some snazzy card holders to make the gameplay go smoothly.
So, now what???
Well, you can’t do much better than get hold of some of the fantastic 3D creations by the sickeningly multi-talented Leavon Archer of Spare Oom Studio!
Leavon has been beavering away of late, to make some really cool pieces of board “furniture” to help add an extra dimension to your game nights.
First up was the iconic Crown of Command, that sits majestically in the centre of the board, closely followed by the Portal of Power that guards the deadly Inner Region.
Various other board locations have followed as you can see below, and there are more planned for the future.
Hopefully, he will be able to get back to his project of making playing pieces for characters that have been added to the game, but do not have corresponding miniatures, like those from Talisman: Digital Edition. I’d much rather use bespoke miniatures, rather than having to source proxies, so I’ll be watching the news on those with interest.
If you are lucky enough to have a 3D printer of your own, or at least have access to one, you can simply purchase the required files from his shop to print out at home.
If you are like me, and are technologically challenged, you can order a printed design at a very fair price, considering the amount of time a piece of this quality takes to print.
