Mike Mularz made a post on Twitter with a reply he got from Games Workshop in the US regarding the re-licensing of Talisman to another company with products due in 2019.
This mirrors the reply that Kyle Schilling got back in September, so it looks like it is a standard response to enquiries about the game, but it does confirm that things are definitely afoot!
I’ve said it elsewhere, but I’ve got my fingers crossed for a continuation of the Revised 4th Edition of Talisman as there is so much more design space that could be explored, especially given that Nomad Games is now developing ‘digital-exclusive’ content with the Realms of Souls expansion.
We’ve also got the Talisman RPG, a card game and a dice game to come from Pegasus Spiele PLUS the reprint of Relic coming from Wizkids, so it’s going to be a big year for the game!
