Well, that was an exceedingly long three weeks!!
I’m pleased to report that Talisman Island is now back on the map after a spell adrift in the Timescape!
So, what’s been happening whilst we’ve been gone?
The big news is that those plucky artisans at Nomad Games have confirmed that the next expansion coming for Talisman: Digital 5th Edition is the Frostmarch Classic!!
They posted some examples of the remastered artwork on their site, plus they’ve set up a cracking deal where you can snag the base game of Talisman: Digital 5th Edition along with the Frostmarch Classic expansion with a nice little discount. Not only that, but the game also comes with a copy of Talisman: Digital Classic Edition too, so you should have more than enough to keep you occupied!
In other news, there was no actual news forthcoming at Play Festivel del Gioco in Bologna this year which was a little disappointing. The big announcement from Avalon Hill was about the Crypt of Perpetual Darkness expansion that’s coming for HeroQuest later in the year.
It’s all good though as Avalon Hill did make a comment on a post by old_worlder_tom on Instagram about having something “cooking” for Talisman this Autumn!
I’m hoping that we’ll see something at UK Games Expo at the end of next month, but we’ll just have to be patient! (Yeah, right…)
Anyway, that’s all I can think of just now, so I’ll close and get on with sorting out what I was noodling around with over the last few weeks!
