I thought I’d do a little update to mention that I received my copies of Talisman Alliances: Fate Beckons, the new Talisman 5th Edition expansion, in record time thanks to Ribby from the HeroQuest groups!
I’ve said over on Facebook that I won’t be spoiling any of the sealed content from the envelopes and boxes until at least October, but a few bits and pieces have started to appear here and there, like the new character cards over on BoardGameGeek.
Unfortunately, a slight mishap with the rulebook opening at a random page spoiled some information for me, but I’m still waiting until we beat each Trial to open the relevant contents.
We’ve only managed to get time to complete Trial 1 as yet, but we’re excited to continue the quest over the next week or so!
In the mean time, Nicholas Linindoll has made an unboxing video of the new expansion, which only features the regular box contents, so it’s a good starting point if you want to get familiar with what to expect in a month or so when the expansion is on general release!
