With BIG thanks to Andrew Wodzianski, you can now see what Avalon Hill Games has in their display cabinets at Gen Con Indy for Talisman 5th Edition and the new Talisman Alliances: Fate Beckons expansion!
First of all, there are NO spoilers of the box or envelope contents, just what you will be adding to your game from the beginning!
As you can see, we get a massive 15 new Villain Characters to add to the Adventure deck, plus 3 regular Adventure cards and 11 new Spells. I’m not sure if this means that the first Trial card is counted amongst the 30 starting cards, or whether the Character cards are included in the four envelopes…
That leaves 20 cards in the 4 envelopes, but who knows what the mix is?!
It’s going to be tricky avoiding spoilers for the expansion, and I hope people are considerate when posting from the convention, but it won’t really spoil the fun if you catch a glimpse here or there. If I see something vaguely interesting I might post about it, but I’ll include any REAL content in the comments rather than the main post.
Don’t forget that Avalon Hill will have limited numbers of the expansion on sale each day at Gen Con, so if you are lucky enough to be visiting, fill your boots!
