Back in May last year, it was finally confirmed that Games Workshop did actually release a set of miniatures to go with the Talisman City and the Master Level characters from White Dwarf magazine thanks to a post on a Facebook group by David Autzen!
I quickly updated the miniatures pages with those minis, but had neglected to add in just what those minis were to help people find them. Derp…
Recently the pages have been updated with links to the excellent Stuff of Legends website to show the collections that each mini comes from, and I also added the first painted examples by Talisman Superfan Katie B!
Then this weekend I decided to set about finding a set of minis for use with Talisman Dragons and the two characters from Le Héraut Citadel!
The brief I gave myself was to find miniatures from the same Citadel catalogues that would be suitable if they were taken in isolation from the character art. They also didn’t have to be an exact match for the character or possibly might be a little surprising as a choice, much like the ‘official’ replacements made by GW back in the day, some of which were quite puzzling choices!
Anyway, all of the pages have now been updated with links, and I’ve even added copies of the original GW Mail Order sheet plus a mock up of one for my own choices.
