Well, after a whole month of virtual inactivity I figured it was about time I posted something to the site instead of relying on the feed from the Talisman Island Facebook page to do the job.

As you might know, we actually moved house in March and it’s been an eventful couple of months with a distinct lack of real internet connectivity and furniture going missing and unpacking countless boxes!

So, here’s a basic rundown of what’s been happening of note, and hopefully I’ll be able to keep abreast of things from now on… probably…

Yesterday, I stumbled across a new entry on the GTS Distribution site for Talisman: Harry Potter Edition which will be coming from The Op around July time.

Since the last post I’ve received my copy of Talisman: Star Wars Edition (also from The Op!), but I’ve yet to get a game together for it. One cool thing to note is that the game came with a special promo pack of four cards for the game which was a nice surprise!

People have begun to receive their copies of the new Talisman Adventures Fantasy RPG from Pegasus Spiele, and mine should also be on its way.

I can’t wait until things are more or less back to normal and we can get an adventure going in person!

A recent post from Nomad Games on their social media suggests that the long-awaited updated for the PlayStation 4 version of Talisman: Digital Edition is just about ready, so we await that with interest.

I don’t know about being an ‘influencer’, but I can’t really help with reviewing the game as I don’t actually have a PS4!

Expansion reprints and new localisations have been appearing from various publishers like REXhry, Matagot and Galakta. I’ll try and get a list together of the latest releases in the near future.

I’m still struggling with the job of thinning my collection, partially due to the reduction of storage space, but after moving the boxes around my room about five times so far, I’m getting there (and I can see the floor!)

Obviously, to sell on the bulk of the games (excluding English-language versions) would be a logistical nightmare, what with the additional shipping costs associated with the B-word, but I’m sure I’ll find some way of doing it.

I think that’ll do for now, so thanks to everyone for their patience and with a bit of luck ‘normal’ service will resume soon where there’ll be a lack of posting with no real excuse!!

Much love, Jon <3
