Just a short post before signing off for the holidays to wish all of the visitors to Talisman Island a very Merry Christmas and a properous New Year.
I wanted to update people with the news about the original Ralph Horsley artwork from the Revised 4th Edition of Talisman that Jean-Marie Baveux has had up for sale so that he can put some money aside for his daughters, Lola and Danaé, whilst he has been battling Merkel Cell Carcinoma this past year.
As I mentioned last month, Jean-Marie’s treatment has unfortunately not been successful and it is now just a matter of time before the inevitable.
A little bit of good news is that two of the paintings have now been sold, leaving the artwork from The Dungeon and The Harbinger still up for grabs.
I would encourage anyone who has been teetering on the edge of pulling the trigger on these to do so quickly, so that Jean-Marie has time to finalise the sales.
The paintings are situated in France, and everything you need to know about them and what to do if you fancy buying them is laid out below:
Prices:
The Dungeon – 47cm x 47cm – €2500
The Harbinger – 40.5cm x 51cm – €2000
Notes:
Prices are in Euros (€) and there will be no other associated charges apart from shipping.
Shipping will be via FedEx, UPS Express or International, with insurance for the declared value, tracking and signature upon delivery. A couple of the paintings are framed, but these will be removed for shipping to due costs and possible damage. If you are collecting, they can be left as is.
Payment will be taken by Bank Transfer only, as this will allow for the maximum amount of money to be passed to his children. It may be possible to arrange some other form of payment, but it will have to be with the agreement of Jean-Marie and the buyer.
Prices for the paintings and shipping may be negotiable, dependent on the number bought etc, but this can be discussed with Jean-Marie.
Genuine enquiries only please.
