Visitors may remember that the games and art collection of Jean-Marie Baveux was put up for auction recently, to help raise funds to put away for his two daughters, Lola and Danaé.

Due to problems with registration and bidding with the auction house’s online systems, the auction did not go according to plan. This does mean though that the four pieces of artwork by Ralph Horsley are still available for sale and it has become somewhat more important that a buyer is found quite quickly.

Sadly, the treatment for Jean-Marie’s Merkel Cell Carcinoma has not been successful, and he has been advised that his time is now limited, likely a matter of weeks. Because of this, he is keen to see the artwork sold so that the funds can be put in trust for his daughters.

The paintings are situated in France, and below I will set out the information that will be required. I’ve also made a couple of images to show exactly what artwork is involved and a little comparison image to show the actual sizes of the artwork –

Prices:

The Reaper – 31.5cm x 22cm – €1750
The Dungeon – 47cm x 47cm – €2500
The Harbinger – 40.5cm x 51cm – €2000
The Woodland – 62cm x 60cm – €2000

Notes:

Prices are in Euros (€) and there will be no other associated charges apart from shipping.

Shipping will be via FedEx, UPS Express or International, with insurance for the declared value, tracking and signature upon delivery. A couple of the paintings are framed, but these will be removed for shipping to due costs and possible damage. If you are collecting, they can be left as is.

Payment will be taken by Bank Transfer only, as this will allow for the maximum amount of money to be passed to his children. It may be possible to arrange some other form of payment, but it will have to be with the agreement of Jean-Marie and the buyer.

Prices for the paintings and shipping may be negotiable, dependent on the number bought etc, but this can be discussed with Jean-Marie.

Genuine enquiries only please.
