News just broke over on BoardGameGeek thanks to W. Eric Martin that the full title for the newly ‘spoiled’ licensed version of Talisman from USAopoly is indeed Talisman: Batman – Super-Villains Edition.
Thankfully they’ve used a small font, so it all fits on the box!
BGG will be showing off the game next week as part of their livestreaming from the GAMA Trade Show, and I’ll be glued to that for most of the show for sure. USAopoly will feature on the Thursday, and hopefully there will be a glimpse of something from WizKids on the Wednesday, but nothing has been confirmed as yet.
If you are wondering why it features the bad guys so heavily, it’s because Batman will be some sort of “Reaper NPC” that will try to stop you doing whatever it is that you will be doing!
It seems that the game board represents Arkham Asylum and you have to battle through with the endgame task of defeating Batman and releasing all of the inmates! Interesting to note is that it features dials for the character attributes, a la Relic, so that can’t be a bad thing. The board and cards look pretty sweet too!
